We made it back safely from our cruise! We had a great time and I'm gonna tell you all about it this week! Starting today...Sunday night?!?! Weird I know, but Mr. 2SB is stuck at work tonight, so here I am! Once these recaps are done, I have an announcement (no, not pregnant), so sit tight and enjoy our cruise!
We were packing all our stuff up on Saturday night when our house phone rang (which rarely happens). It was the airline...our flight had gotten canceled due to weather, not the weather in CA, the weather on the East Coast. This was one of the major storms they were having and the plane we were supposed to be on was coming from the East Coast and that flight got canceled. After 2 hours of waiting, we were put on an earlier flight. There were a few more problems with this, but I don't want to go into detail. We made to Long Beach and at the time, that's all I cared about! If we couldn't have gotten on the earlier flight, we would have had time to drive, which would have worked too.
So we boarded our ship on Sunday, February 7th, which was also Super Bowl Sunday. The following pictures are from around the ship from our sailing days (when we didn't get off the ship...which were Sunday, Monday & Saturday).
